About Me

Niladri Shekhar Das: My works are a passage for my deepest intimate emotions to release in the cosmos. It’s kind of a catharsis for my system and also helps in self introspection. Their nothing but a reflection of self and a mirror for the world to understand me. As any living mortal on this planet I too have a plethora of emotions bound inside me. Painting has always acted as an outlet for these trapped passions. It’s like meditating, wherein I’m able to let loose, reach out to my inner soul and cleanse my mind. This process of liberating self is not an easy one though. It’s like a journey, when I begin I don’t have the slightest of ides where this long unfamiliar road would lead me. I discover my final destination step by step, encountering different twists and turns and obstacles while treading towards my goal. Initially I had a lot of difficulty in finding the appropriate objects to depict the required sentiments. But gradually I achieved success in it.
